WIDELL + BOSCHETTI

Based in Moorestown, Barette Widell and Christina Boschetti are the duo behind Widell + Boschetti, a boutique interior design firm that embodies how important a blend of disciplines can be to a successful project.  W+B has moved from project to project based purely on client referrals and social media.

Meshing their perspectives to create work that is lush, dynamic and reflects a singular, harmonious vision, the firm is dedicated to providing clients with innovative designs and unique value.  The W+B trademark has become a juxtaposition of transitional and modern, incorporating furnishings that are simple and streamlined, without being trendy or cold.  W+B‘s designs are an intentional mix of styles and periods, pieced together in surprising ways, always exuding luxury while staying within budget.

“We value the importance of genuinely listening to our clients’ needs.  We work diligently from start to finish - designing, managing, and executing projects of all style and scale.”

W + B pride themselves on providing the highest standard of client services while alleviating the stress typically involved in such endeavors.  We truly value our clients’ opinions, but never shy away from offering new and exciting directions to meet their objectives.  From accurate measurements to precise installations, we bring the highest quality of service to every project.

“Our process is to understand our clients’ individual needs, aesthetic and requirements. We start by assessing your goals, budget, organizational structure and operational specifications.  Once we have crafted a concept that is right for you, we will implement and manage all phases of your project.”

FOUNDERS + PRINCIPAL DESIGNERS

BARETTE WIDELL:

Born in Laguna, CA, and a former soloist ballerina at Pennsylvania Ballet, Barette moved to NYC at the age of 14 to become a professional ballet dancer. She went to high school at the Professional Children’s School while simultaneously attending the School of American Ballet. At 19, Barette began her professional dancing career with the Pennsylvania Ballet. She danced until the age of 28.

Soon after, Barette jumped at the chance to start her own event design company. With her love and passion for design, she knew she could pull it off. Even giving birth to her first son didn’t stop her from creating many successful and eye-catching events! Nevertheless, as the work load grew, she realized she was going to need help from a partner of some kind…

CHRISTINA BOSCHETTI

Christina’s professional story began when she graduated from Parsons with a degree in fashion design. After achieving much success designing for others, she focused her skills on herself and started her own company. Partnering with a fellow Parsons graduate, Christina began to design and sell trendsetting women’s trousers at their boutique HEM in the heart of Soho. Word spread quickly through the New York scene, and soon enough celebrities and socialites alike could be seen showing off the unique designs and flattering fit of HEM trousers. As time passed, Christina’s interests expanded into high-end interior design.

Christina moved to Philadelphia with her husband in 2014, where a friendship with her new neighbor Barette blossomed into a business partnership, and the eventual launch of the interior design boutique and brand Widell + Boschetti.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

After their first run-in at the park, Barette and Christina both walked away thinking the same thing - that they’d just met their future business partner. It didn’t take long to realize that such similar paths and common goals could be turned into something great. Both their families had been on the verge of leaving Philadelphia, but fate had kept them there to join forces. Their dream was right under their noses! Christina joined Barette to help operate her lifestyle and event design company, which was still called Widell Designs.

After much hustle, Barette and Christina decided they loved the design aspect of their business much more than the actual events. They decided to take a risk and focus exclusively on doing residential and commercial interior design. They officially became partners, and together have turned that dream into the successful boutique interior design firm Widell + Boschetti.
